This will be Ben’s 4th consecutive year he has been a finalist in the International Design & Architecture Awards which he won last year and it will be his 3rd consecutive year as a finalist in the SBID awards in London.

The SBID International Design Awards has firmly established itself arguably as the most prestigious Interior Design Award events in the global design calendar

Trenzseater is proud to announce for the 4th consecutive year, Ben Lewis has been short listed for the prestigious International Design & Architecture Awards for his residential interior design work in 2019 by an acclaimed global judging panel. 

The prestigious New Zealand furniture design and interior décor specialist is privileged to have received this international recognition for its expertise in Interior Design.  

The SBID International Design Awards has firmly established itself arguably as the most prestigious Interior Design Award events in the global design calendar, representing talent and design excellence across all corners of the industry. Submissions were received from over 49 countries, each entry undergoes an exclusive two-tier judging process by panels of leading industry experts from Christian Louboutin, Bentley Motors, Boeing, Walpole and Belmond to name a few, making it truly an honour and a sign of industry recognition that is second to none for the deserving winners.

The awards recognise, reward and celebrate design excellence across a broad range of design categories. Winning a SBID International Design Award is a high achievement – they are evaluated by leading industry experts for their technical content and aesthetic creativity while the design-conscious public also has a say in choosing the most inspiring projects. 

Hosted and featured in leading interior design magazine “design et al”, along with being published in their special hard cover book with all the shortlisted entries + winners these awards will receive exposure and recognition on a global scale that will be highly publicized. The International Design & Architecture Awards are held in September at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in London, where the sponsors will announce and award the winning entries with their trophies. As part of the judging process, like last year, the public has an opportunity to vote for their favourite entry, there were over 86,000 votes last year, so we will be in touch closer the time when voting opens in August this year.  

Trenzseater are looking forward to representing New Zealand at the awards this year and hopefully repeating their winning success from last year with this year’s fantastic entry.
