Lexus of Auckland City has opened its new customer-focused home in the luxury automotive precinct in Newmarket.
Designed with the Lexus philosophy of omotenashi at its heart — a commitment to 'wholeheartedly caring for guests' — the facility promises an elevated experience for all visitors.
In designing the new dealership, owner Giltrap Group focused on a truly customer-focused location and eschewed the typical exterior car yard and sales office format. Instead, all the facilities, from customer lounge, product displays and offices are indoors, leading to a more convenient and comfortable experience. Even customer parking is within the new building.
The new Lexus of Auckland City is spacious with a fully enclosed 2,800 square metres. At least 48 Lexus vehicles are on site as well as EV charging for six vehicles. Customers will be supported by 34 staff members at the new dealership.
Sharlene Van Dijk, Lexus of Auckland City Chief Executive Officer, says the new premises at 21 Great South Road is an iconic building which now proudly houses the Lexus brand.
