Autumn Winter 2022 collection features Crane Brother’s signature core of classic tailoring but is also complemented by new lines.
Purveyors of fine menswear and tailoring, Crane Brothers, are not only growing their retail footprint, with a new boutique store in Auckland’s vibrant cultural heart, Ponsonby but they are adjusting their collection to address the evolving way in men approach sophisticated style.
Crane Brothers is excited to announce their Autumn Winter 2022 collection. Launching alongside their new Ponsonby Boutique, the collection builds on the brand’s tailoring heritage with an expansive new offering, as showcased by the season’s campaign by Karen Inderbitzen-Waller.
Built around the evolving needs of a contemporary wardrobe, the Autumn Winter 2022 collection features a core of classic tailoring, complemented by new lines, including a new casual jacket collection, a greatly expanded knitwear programme and extensions to denim, casual trousers, footwear and outerwear.
The season sees Ben St. George return to the business in earnest after six years working overseas in senior roles with Drake’s, The Rake and Wallpaper Magazine. Ben has been heavily involved in redeveloping the Crane Brothers digital experience over the past year and now brings his expertise to the brand as a whole, working closely with founder Murray Crane on range development and refining the Crane Brothers vision.
“For many of us, our wearing habits have changed,” says Ben, “and even if a suit has a permanent place in the wardrobe, it isn’t quite as core as it once was. What we know that people have struggled with is finding timeless, beautifully made pieces to step into that space. With this collection, we’ve taken the detail, material excellence and artisanal craftsmanship that we use in our suiting and applied that to every aspect of one’s wardrobe - whether you’re at home, in the city or on the road.”
