Porsche Design says its new premium audio product is a perfect companion for every step of the day. An IP67 dust and water protection rating means that the PDS20 speaker can handle dust or splashes, which makes the device equally suitable for a hike as well as to use in the backyard.

The new Porsche Design Outdoor Speaker PDS20 is as exclusive as it is versatile. Two passive radiators and a 1.75” woofer provide a great sound experience with powerful bass. The minimalist, cylindrical-shaped housing is finished in satin anodised aluminum and clad in a gray acoustic fabric. The silicone carrying strap function that also serves as a shock protection makes the speaker suitable for all indoor and outdoor activities.

In addition, colourful strap options add a unique personalisation feature to the outdoor speaker. The straps come in two Porsche vehicle colours: Agate Gray and Shade Green – the color of the Porsche 911 Dakar, a sports car that feels just as much at home off the beaten path as it does on asphalted roads. The straps can be easily changed according to personal preference.

Porsche Design also says its new PDS20 outdoor speaker is smart and user-friendly. The built-in microphone allows for intuitive interaction with a voice assistant to navigate playlists, manage calls, messages and organize meetings on connected electronic devices. This allows the user to always stay connected.

For perfect stereo sound, a second speaker can be effortlessly paired with the first via Bluetooth to add to the volume and to play audio content like music, videos, and podcasts in stereo. It's an ideal way to entertain larger groups or to enjoy the sound in all corners of the user's home this summer.
