R.M. Williams launches all new denim collection

R.M. Williams has launched a refreshed line-up of denim wear, crafted to take on everyday adventures. The Australian apparel maker's denim legacy dates back almost as far as the brand’s iconic leather boots, and continues in 2023 with the launch of its new, diversified denim collection.

Comprising workwear-inspired jackets, easy-to-layer shirts, elegant tailored skirts and a signature
offering of five pocket denim jeans, the collection serves as the foundation for the R.M. Williams look.

R.M. Williams says a focus on quality and fit is fundamental throughout its new denim range, which has been titled 'Crafted to be Worn'. The latest denim releases account for the return of the brand’s best-loved shapes – including the Ramco and Loxton jeans – as well as the introduction of new silhouettes, designed for the modern wardrobe.

Premium denim fabrics have been sourced from Australia, Italy and Japan and crafted into functional garments using time-honoured techniques and branded finishes. A range of styles within the collection have also been produced on Australian shores in a commitment to local craftsmanship, a key pillar in the R.M. Williams ‘Crafting a better future strategy’.

The 'Crafted to be Worn' range is accompanied by a new campaign starring three creatives, sculptor Dion Horstmans, maker/designer Vivienne Wong and musician Don West. R.M. Williams says the three creative powerhouses chosen to represent the campaign each master self-expression in their chosen mediums. Captured in their working environments, they showcase the versatility, endurance and adaptability of the new denim collection.

Sculptor Dion Horstmans works with steel rods and round bars, using line to create a sense of movement and speed in his powerful three-dimensional artworks.

Maker/designer - and former dancer with the Australian Ballet Company - Vivienne Wong balances elegance and functionality in her highly intuitive furniture designs.

Musician Don West draws on a range of artistic influences to write and perform modern soul music on his own terms.

The brands says that dressed in R.M. Williams denim looks, each artist highlights the ways in which this hardy fabric can bring value to the modern wardrobe, whether it’s providing the foundation for on-stage style or offering protection from flying metal sparks.

The new R.M. Williams 'Crafted to be Worn' denim collection is available online and in R.M. Williams stores now.
